I think zazzle is an unprofessional printing company, and one I'm sorry that I tried to use for my daughter's birthday. The first batch I was sent had a tipped package, rubber banded together. Envelopes were ripped. That would have been bad enough, but then I took out the invitations. The print provided with the package was correct. The invitations however were not. One side of the two sides invitation was upside down. Of course this was Friday afternoon and the mail came after they closed. So we sent our second email. Our first email was after we did our order to verify it went through because their site is such a disaster.

On Monday morning we called. After waiting on hold for the better part of an hour, a very nice customer service rep answered and helped us. (Thank you Kevin. We are sorry you work there.) He looked at the disaster picture we sent of our package, and helped us get a reorder put through with free rush shipping. We were very thankful to get some assistance. And then we got an email a few hours later.

Basically after printing it the first time, they decided they couldn't print it because we might be infringing on copyright even though (1) they printed it the first time (2) I hand drew the entire design. All we get is I'm sorry we screwed up. It should have not been sent the first time. Oh, and multiple people have looked at it at our company but we're different departments so I can't help what someone else approved and someone else didn't. They couldn't explain it. Truly, had the production company not printed it upside down the first time my invitations would be out.

Now I don't have invitations for my daughter's first birthday party and a week has passed in this madness.

With all the money I spent at companies for printing, I will not be using zazzle again. I don't encourage anyone to use them.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Zazzle Pros: Kevin the customer service rep.

Zazzle Cons: Quality and quality control.

Location: Los Angeles, California

We appreciate your feedback.

Unfortunately, the first order should not have been printed due to the copyrighted images that were used.

We are aware that in error the order was approved and printed. When the second order was placed our Validation Team once again reviewed the designs and it was declined due to the copyrighted artwork that was used on the order. Legally, we are not able to print anything that will infringe upon anyone's rights.

As with most companies, we are one company but we have several different departments throughout the company.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you.

And yet somehow someone at your company printed it again anyway and we just received it in the mail two days ago. So legally, what's the excuse again?

Because I don't think you have one. After speaking to all those managers who said they couldn't do it a "magical" print job was done without our knowledge, and after we went to another company and spent $45 to have it printed correctly. (They by the way had it printed and ready the next day, delivered, no additional charge. Thank you UPrinting.com)

All I have from you is still an excuse that means nothing, now more than ever, because you still printed a job you swore you could not, 2 weeks behind schedule, and now I have an extra stack of invites.

Did you just feel bad you consistently lied to a customer and decided to send proof? Never again. And yes, it's all over facebook and any other site I can find.

I think I have even less respect for you now.
